Booking a DJ for your Wedding or Party is not something you do regularly, you probably have lots of questions!

Here are a small selection of the questions we are frequently asked , if your question is not answered below, please do not hesitate to Contact Us.

Do you have a booking form?

Yes we do, all bookings are confirmed in writing for your piece of mind.

We can post or email you a copy of our booking form and a copy of our Terms & Conditions. Sign and return with the required deposit, and that’s your booking confirmed.

Can we meet?

Yes of course we can. We can come to you or you’re welcome to come and see us. Alternatively we can meet at your venue, sometimes this is the best option as we can then discuss any special requirements with the landlord/owner.

What music will you play?

Well that’s up to you. Our extensive music collection enables us to play all sorts of music. A waltz for the Grandparents, 60`s 70`s, disco, current chart and even upfront dance mixes. We also encourage you to compile a list of songs you would like to hear, or if you prefer a list you DON’T want to hear.

What will you wear?

For setting up, myself and any team member will be in branded polo shirts with smart jeans, in the summer months we wear shorts as it can get warm carrying equipment in to venues. Once we are set-up, we will change into clothing that is suitable for your occasion. We have a full black tie outfit available if requested, or either black shirts or black polo shirts with our company logo embroidered on the front. We always make sure that we are presentable for your function!

Insurance & PAT?

Some venues require performers/djs to be covered by their own Public Liability Insurance & have fully tested electrical equipment. California Disco have £10 Million public liability insurance and the equipment is PAT tested every 12 months, copies of the documents are available on request.

Travel?

Based in Corby we cover Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and beyond. We have, and will travel almost anywhere. There may be additional charges to cover fuel and expenses which we can discuss on an individual basis.

Prices?

No two events are the same and each event is priced accordingly, whilst we know we are not the cheapest, we firmly believe our prices are both fair and competitive for the level of service that we provide. Get in touch for a free, no obligation quote by using the Contact Us button.

Additional Prices?

There are additional items and services that you could request at your event that would carry additional charges. i.e. Snow at your Christmas Party, Glow sticks at your Birthday Party, Mood lighting, Dance Floor Hire or `LOVE` letters at your Wedding Reception.

Video & Karaoke?

We can easily add Video Screens to your disco for a small additional fee. The screens can be used to display music videos, slideshows or company logos and presentations.

Sorry, we do not have Karaoke.
